We regard Castle Brothers not as builders, but as our partners, working with us to maintain and renovate our lovely, but needy Regency town house. Castle Brother have worked with us over the last eleven years on jobs both big and small first to bring the house back so far as practicable to its original condition, then to keep it so. Their work has included complex brick work required to replace a vaulted ceiling in the cellar, the installation of a staircase, removal of false ceilings and repair of 19th century plaster work, the renovation of external rendering and repair the weather proofing of the original slate roof. They are always ready to offer advice and to provide assistance even when time is short: they came to our rescue, for example, when we discovered a roof beam had slipped as a result of failing brick work in the attic and feared imminent collapse.
